3. Scope of data processing
When you visit this website, personal data is only processed where technically necessary or where you submit it to us yourself, for example via the contact form.
No processing for advertising or cross-site tracking takes place. Self-hosted Matomo provides technical audience measurement without analytics cookies or active browser features; details are set out in section 9.
4. Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files. This information includes, among others:
- IP address (anonymised or truncated)
- date and time of the request
- pages accessed
- browser type and operating system
Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure technical operation, stability and security of the website.
5. Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.
The hosting provider processes personal data (e.g. IP addresses in server log files) to ensure technical operation, stability and security of the website.
Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
The servers are located in Germany.
6. Contact form
If you use the contact form on this website, the following details are processed:
- name (required)
- email address (required)
- your message (required)
- name of your business (optional)
- phone number (optional)
- industry (optional)
- preferred reply language (optional)
These details are used exclusively to handle your enquiry and to contact you. They are not passed on to third parties and are not used for advertising purposes.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and, for the optional fields, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
The form is transmitted encrypted to a server in Germany. No data is transmitted to third-party form or analytics services.
7. Appointment booking
On the appointment page of this website you can pick a time for a free first call yourself. The following details are processed:
- name (required)
- email address (required)
- phone number (required for phone and WhatsApp appointments, otherwise voluntary)
- the time you choose
- language of the call and preferred channel
- topic from a fixed list
- name of your business (voluntary)
- a voluntary message
- shortened IP address
No external calendar or booking service is involved. The appointment is stored on the same server in Germany that hosts this website. No data is passed to third parties and there is no transfer to a third country.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract). For the shortened IP address, which serves solely to prevent automated bookings, it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You receive a confirmation by email with a calendar entry and a personal link that lets you cancel the appointment at any time, without giving a reason. 24 hours before the appointment we send a single reminder to the same address.
Appointment data is deleted automatically 90 days after the appointment, and immediately upon cancellation. What remains is a log line without names and without contact details.
8. Contact by email, phone or messenger
If you contact us by email or phone, the details you provide are stored solely to process your enquiry. This data is not passed on to third parties. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
This website also contains a link to WhatsApp. This link does not load any content from WhatsApp and transmits no data merely by viewing the page. Only when you actively click the link are you forwarded to WhatsApp; from that point the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Limited applies. If you prefer not to use it, please contact us by email, phone or via the contact form.
9. No analytics cookies; Matomo and functional browser storage
Audience measurement sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking storage. Only the following functional and privacy-related information is stored directly in your browser:
- tks-assistant-lang (local storage): the language you select for the on-site assistant; retained until you delete the site data.
- tks-journey-seen, tks-journey-topic, tks-journey-topics and tks-journey-milestones (session storage): assistant prompts already shown, the selected topic and conversation progress within the current tab; deleted when the tab is closed.
- tks-assistant-nudge (session storage): prevents the same assistant prompt from repeating within one tab; deleted when the tab is closed.
- tks_analytics_optout_v1 (local storage): stores only your objection to cookie-free audience measurement; retained until you delete this site’s data.
These entries contain no user ID, never leave your device and are not combined with server data. They serve only the language you explicitly choose and the functioning of the on-site assistant you use (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). No consent banner is therefore required for them.
Matomo is self-hosted at matomo.thailand-vloggers.com for cookie-free audience measurement. It sets no analytics cookies, disables active browser feature detection such as screen resolution or extensions, and respects Do Not Track. The IP address is truncated server-side by two octets.
The data processed comprises page views, time and duration, referrer and campaign parameters, passively transmitted browser, operating-system and device details, and coarse events. Names, email addresses, messages and other form contents are not sent to Matomo. Raw data is deleted after 180 days.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to identify usage patterns and technical problems. You may object at any time using the footer control; new page views and heartbeats stop immediately.
Apart from the Matomo script served by the self-hosted BTECH installation described above, no external content is loaded. Fonts are served exclusively from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or comparable services. No maps, videos or social media widgets are embedded.
Should a service requiring consent be added in future, this privacy policy will be updated beforehand and a consent mechanism will be put in place.
10. SSL / TLS encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content.
11. Rights of data subjects
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection to the processing of your personal data.
You also have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
12. Storage period
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention periods apply.
Data from contact enquiries is deleted once processing is complete, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.
Appointment data is deleted 90 days after the appointment, and immediately upon cancellation.
13. Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is adjusted as required to reflect legal, technical or editorial changes.
